First you need to get the parts automotive grade wire, a fuse link, fuse, and a 3 post toggle switch.

cut space in dash of the car large enough for the toggle switch in a place reachable from the driver seat

wire fuse link to the positive side of the battery (do not let the other end touch any part of the motor or car this will cause the fuse to ground out)

run a wire from the fuse link to the positive side of the toggle switch

run another wire from the negetive side of the toggle switch to the nearest ground (area where the wire will touch body or frame of the car)

run a wire from the third post on the toggle switch to the positive side of the pump

run one last wire from the negetive side of the pump to another ground

now turn the toggle switch to on let pump prime (allow to fill with fule) for a few seconds then fire motor

Can you put a supercharger on a Mazda RX-8?

Yes you can put asupercharger on your rx8. But if you do this without upgrading your entire fuel system including fuel pump and injectors you will burn up the factory fuel pump. Also you will need aftermarket highflow exhaust to keep from blowing gaskets on your engine due to excessive pressure. Then after you get the supercharger installed you will have to take it to get tuned or else it will cause the engine to malfunction because the factory ecu is programmed to operate on the factory level.

1989 gmc suburban 5.7 4x4 I put a new in tank fuel pump and filter ran for 30 min won't start again?

Rapid pump failure of a new replacement can be an electrical system problem or a faulty new unit. Aftermarket fuel pumps, even those branded as original equipment replacement often have serious quality and reliability issues in comparison to factory units. It is recommended that you check and or replace the fuel pump relay, pump voltages, to further isolate the causes.

Where is the fuel pump on a 1997 Silverado?

In the fuel tank. ther pump is in the tank you should also replace the pigtail connector as the ground wire in the stock one is usually the cause for the factory pump burning out also, when you buy a new one, i recommend getting a "factory" pump from a dealer, the aftermarket ones are crap and dont last very long, i know this from experience, i replaced mine 3 times in 4 years before i was told by a friend to get the dealer pump, goin strong ever since.(5 years)
