Best Answer

1. write a return address

2. skip a space, write the date

3. skip a space, write down the address you are sending this business letter to

4. writ a greeting-DO NOT ADDRESS THE PERSON BY FIRST NAME, THIS IS A BUSINESS LETTER NOT A PERSONAL LETTER, ONLY DO SO IF YOU ACTUALLY KNOW THE PERSON PERSONALLY-write the greeting with a semi colon afterwards, unless, like I said, you know this person PERSONALLY

5. skip a space and then write the body of the letter-why are you writing, whatever you need to say to this person, business, etc.

6. skip a space, write the closing-either write Sincerely or any other closing then skip four lines down then write your name, do this so you will have room to sign the business letter above

If you are doing this in FULL BLOCK form, then you should NOT have made any any indentations whatsoever

EXAMPLE:

4323 Mainstreet Apt. 4

Lorain, Ohio 44023

March 20, 2010

Converse

One High Street

North Andover, MA 01845
