How does one repair a Saturn SL2 driver side manual window crank that just spins and does not move the window?

On many occasions the plastic inside the handle strips out and the handle just spins. There is a "C" clip holding the handle to the regulator.Push the door panel in behind the handle to see and remove the clip. Look inside the handle to see if the plastic is stripped.If not , the regulator will need to be replaced. (Note: If the handle is stripped, the window tracks are probably dry and need lubrication or the problem will happen again.)
