Everything about physical geography has an impact on human geography. Natural hazards will have an impact on where we like to build cites, they can cause large scale migrations and change the economy of entire countries, etc...
Human geography is the study of people on the earth. People can affect the physical geography of an area in thousands of ways including:
There are many more ways as well.
Physical geography refers to landscape, like mountains, rivers, oceans, lakes, deserts etc... It's all the boring stuff that no one cares about if you know in the future.
"Oh, yeah, I know about the Pyrenees mountains in Spain that borders Spain and France!"
"Who cares?"
Human geography is much more vital in an ever changing world with a tough global economy. Human geography is the interaction between the physical word and humans, more of a cultural landscape. For instance, why do people in this area do this? How does the environment of this region affect the culture of the people living there? Why aren't people investing in Iraq or Sri Lanka? How does the environment affect the economies of these countries? All of that.
People change geography by building dams, locks, building roads and other projects. Engineers changed the direction of the Chicago River. The Netherlands built many dams and reclaimed land from the ocean. The Saint Lawrence Seaway and Panama Canal changed the land around them.
Mountains can provide protection from invaders. Waterways offer trade with other civilizations and cultures and food from the fish. A civilizations geographical location may also contribute to what religion they develop, for example different seasons may determine whether they pray to one god or many gods.

Human geography teaches about human beings and their accomplishments, while physical geography teaches about the physical world we live in
Not really. Human geography is about the society of humans and their actions, whereas physical geography is about the land and water of our planet (everything that humans have not influenced or changed.) The geographic location of a people affects the human society it impacts. The location of the peoples called Eskimos, is a society that chooses to live in severely cold portions of geography. Clearly these peoples are closely related to their geographical location.
