DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS AT HOME, IT IS VERY DANGEROUS AND YES YOU CAN TAKE YOUR HEAD OFF IF YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING. I HAVE SEEN PEOPLE GET KILLED TRYING THIS. TAKE IT FORM SOMEONE WHO HAS 28 YEARS EXPERIENCE.

Whoever posted that last answer, RELAX! I've been a mechanic for over 35 years and I have never seen anybody "get their head blown off." Considering you are only taking the strut out long enough to put the mount in, maybe a total moron who couldn't even tell you where the dip stick is on his car would get killed by trying to change a strut mount. My 19 year old son can do it, so I would suggest against trying to scare people out of it. Anything mechanical can be dangerous. If you don't know that or know the risks, then you shouldn't own a car.
to change a front wheel bearing remove macpherson strut and press out bearings with a press, replace with press.
All Toyota Camry's have struts in the front. This is also accompanied with strut mounts and bearings that are located between the mount & strut. I highly recommend replacing the mounts & strut bearings with the struts. My experience has shown that the mounts fail before the strut.
It could be your front strut mounts need to be replaced. The rubber inside the strut mounts, wears out. You will hear the noise when u drive over bumps and uneven surfaces. my 2004 grand am se1 4 door ,with the 3.4 v6 engine and automatic transmission, needs the front strut mounts replaced.
There is one on the front passenger side and a torque strut on the front. The torque strut acts like a motor mount.
4 engine mounts. front right, front center, torch strut that supports the radiador, & transmission mount
Although there is a snap ring retaining the bearing, you will need to take the strut to a mechanic and have the bearing pressed out. If you take out the three bolts on the top of the strut tower, and disconnect the ball joint at the bottom, you won't have to worry about throwing the alignment out.

how change front strut on1995 Oldsmobile catlass suprime
Since the strut bearing is part of the strut-coil spring assembly, the whole thing will have to come out and be disassembled. See "Related Questions" below for extensive information on these procedures.
try to tighten all the bolts on the strut mounts and double check
Worn strut or shock absorber? Worn strut bearing at top of strut? Loose suspension parts? Worn ball joint?
This would be on a front strut style of shock. The strut mount has to allow the spindle to turn and usually has a bearing to allow this. If it is dry or seizing you usually get stiff steering and some noise.
