We put curd, vinegar, lemon juice etc in milk it contains lactobecillus bacteria which starts multiplying and then milk is also converted in curd.
By adding an acid such as lemon juice or vinegar or in the case of cheese, rennet. Milk also curdles naturally when left to go bad.
fermentation
Curd or coagulated milk; is used to make cheese.
Add previous day butter milk to milk taken in bowl keep it in rest till curd is formed
The chemical composition is different.
Rennin deactivate the casein micelles in milk, causing a distinct separation of curd protein (solid) and whey protein (liquid).
Lactobacillus casei is the bacterium present in curd. It produces lactic acid, which in turn reduces the pH and coagulates milk proteins (primarily casein) forming curd.
Due to process fermentation of microorganism the milk turns into curd.
it can make milk in to curd because it has a special chemical called lacto that changaes milk into curd
bacteria turns milk into curd.
Curd &milk are posine or not
the protein in the milk is denatured, therefore it cannot return to its original structure. the tertiary and quaternary structure of the original protein changes, bonds are broken and others reformed, these cannot be changed. the process is similar to that of cooking an egg, once it has been cooked it cannot change back to its raw state.
Curd or coagulated milk; is used to make cheese.
The curd is the fat in the milk that sticks together. ------------------------------------------------------------------- I think it is the proteins rather than the fat that are responsible for the formation of curd - after all you can get fat free curd cheese.
curd is more acidic than milk .Because when milk is changed to curd it's pH value decreases due to the formation of lactic acid.
Formation of curd in milk is called 'Fermentation'.Curd is formed when milk is pasteurised and fermented by a combination of lactic acid bacteria and a protease.
I haven't tried it, but I read it somewhere, you can prepare curd without using starter curd, but instead add a few drops of lemon to luke warm milk in the same manner as u do for curdling milk.
because the bacterias does not feed on us. But without them we cannot get food, there will not be any decomposition in our surroundings. For example in the matter of foo we can take the example of curd. for making curd, first we need milk but after taking the milk for converting it into curd there must be the micro organism yeast. so we humans cannot live without the bacterias
Tofu itself,a cheese like substance made up of curd and soybean milk(curd-thayir)
