Push in slightly on the door panel around the window crank area. Take a small hook shaped tool (can be made from a coat hanger) and pull out the C shaped clip that pins the handle to the shaft. Pull handle off shaft.
A simple inexpensive tool is available at your local auto parts store. There is a C clip behind the handle that needs to be removed to release the handle.
