getting abs is not too terribly hard you just have to make sure that you are doing enough cardio and eating organic healthy food periodically throughout the day you want to eat small meal portions about 6-7 meals a day... do adequate ab excercises, you have to work for them, unless you are just one of the few people blessed with them. i do every other day about four different excercises for abs, including work for you obliques, upper abs and lower abs... if you follow this you will have abs, its only a matter of time and if you are in pretty good shape if you hit it hard you can have a set of rock hard abs like mine in no time.

Or in my opinion, it depends what you are doing to get the abs. Such as Zumba, it might take you 6 weeks or so but if you're using a workout routine it would probably take at least 10 weeks and on! :D
