my cross country coach at school says that you should never go without running for more then two days because you will get out of shape and lose what you have already gotten. He says at the most you should only rest about two days, unless you are going to take a big rest.
It all depends on how good of shape you are in it also depends on your diet and your body weight and the sport you training forMy definition of cardio means the Breath of Life to start getting results about 90 days alternating 7 days a week light days and heavy days

Cardio exercises allows you to move a lot, in turn, you lose as much calories in one session. Limit your food intake and exercise regularly to lose weight. I would also suggest you swim or do brisk walking. Use the stairs and take long walks, these too are cardio exercises.
This depends on what type of cardio workout you are doing. Cardio is a form of workout which aids in strengthening your cardiac muscle. To lose your weight by doing cardio activities really do take a little longer than you directly target your muscle and do weight training. The myth about weight training among the women is they would gain big huge muscles, which is not true. We females do not have as much testosterone compared to a male. The female body builders take special food and supplements to gain such big muscles.
That is determined by what you would want to focus on first. If you want to lose weight in a general sense, a combination of mid to high impact cardio to elevate heart rate and strength training can yield some fantastic results.
This completely depends on other aspects, such as current weight, current fitness level and what tye of diet you are going to use. But, being 43, it could take slightly longer to lose 20 pounds, as oppose to a 23 year old:)
Cardio alone is not a good way to lose weight, you need to change your eating habits and eat healthier. Also you need to take in less calories and burn off more.

If you hate exercise, a cardio free diet may sound like the perfect weight loss plan. Unfortunately, these diets still require exercise. Instead of cardio, dieters will begin weight training. Strength training increases lean muscle mass, strengthens the body, and increases the metabolism. Cardiovascular exercise is not the key to weight loss. The only way to lose weight is to burn more calories than you take in. Swapping your cardiovascular workout with weight training will help you lose weight as long as you continue to limit your calories.
it depends on how old you arand you fitness...
If you want to lose fat and not gain muscle you should try light cardio throught out the day. You will burn more calories than you take in, and that burns fat.
it all depends on how much you weigh, to lose the pounds fast and safely, i would suggest doing half and hour of hard cardio everyday, also drink lots of water to help flush your system, hope that helps ;)
Each person varies with how long it will take to lose 30 pounds. On average, a person can lose around 2 pounds per week. It would take 3.75 weeks to lose 30 pounds with diet and exercise.
