1. When replacing filter additional oil may be needed. After refill check oil level.
2. With the ENG at operating TEMP, shift TRANS through all gears. Let ENG slow idle in PARK for at least 3 minutes. Check fluid level and add fluid as needed. Do not overfill. Good Luck and Remember.
Change Your Mind, Not Your Oil.
Use the First In Synthetic Motor Oil's.
See My Bio For more information. I was told you need 5 Qt's as if you were just changeing the oil and filter, then start the engine, make sure the Transmission is good and warm change into all drives[1/2/D/N/R/P] then pull the dipstick and see
I'm not not sure what came in them from the factory but mine has a 700R4. they are decent transitions for a daily driver but if you want a solid trany try a turbo 400 or turbo 350
No...it will have the bolt pattern of the Pontiac, Cadillac, Olds and Buick. Chevy has a different bolt pattern. There are some transmissions that do have the dual bolt pattern, but I don't think the TH 400 was one of them.
depends on what tranny u have< if it is a turbo 400 then u just drop the trany and punch out the knuckle and put a new shifter onto it.... if it is a 500 or bigger it is different cause u are running a comp tyranny hope this helps
YES I CAN! u should have a shop do it because of the time and precision needed as well as specialty tools and equipment.
No turbo 350's in 1992.
yes you can, you can turbo anything.
heat the cap up with a turbo torch and burn the plastic out of the cap groove.
Buy a turbo. Change exaust , change manifold , change air intake, reprogram ecu.
Yes, as long as the transmission has the Chevy bolt pattern.
You can if it has the Chevy bolt pattern.
Yes, but turbo conversions aren't cheap. There's a lot more to them than merely slapping on a turbo.
Turbo 300, Turbo 350, Turbo 400 and 700R4 are the first ones that came to mind.
