Nobody really fought in the cold war, it was mostly just threats between the Capitalist Goverments and the Communist ones. Some spies were executed though, although that number is estimated to be about 120.

The Cold War wasn't a war, like WW1, WW2, Korean War, Vietnam War, etc. The COLD WAR was a "Stalemate" with each nuclear armed country waiting for an excuse to press the atomic buttons, starting World War 3. We used the words (term) Cold War because it was alot easier to say and remember, and had a ring to it. No one could remember, "Stalemate with each nuclear armed country waiting for an excuse to press the atomic button..."

Was there ever a war where no one died?

YES there was it is the Cold War Ah, I don't think that's very accurate. Many people died as direct result of The Cold War over the almost 40 years it lasted. This would include everything from people executed for "selling secrets", or being spies, to people being shot trying to cross The Iron Curtain, and everything in between. Many would have died in wars directly related to the concerns/conflicts of The Cold War (Eastern Communism vs Western Capitalism) such as Korea, Vietnam, etc.; basically anywhere where Soviet influence was deemed by American interests as being detrimental, and opposed accordingly. So, MANY people died during The Cold War. Cheers!
