The 92-96 Beretta/Corsica brake master cylinder is best removed with the ABS pumps and reservoir still attached. First, disconnect the 4 brake lines going to the top of the unit using a flare wrench. Now remove the 2 bolts securing the brake master cylinder to the brake booster. The whole assembly will come right out. Easy!
There are two thermostats in the plastic housing on the driver side of the cylinder head. It needs removed to access them. Replace all seals, fill coolant, and warm up engine.
If you have it removed you can put it in a pot of boiliing water and see if it opens.
The transmission has to be removed to gain access to the clutch slave cylinder.

Depends on the revolver. Some inexpensive guns had a removable cylinder pin- it would be removed, the cylinder could now be removed, and the pin used to eject empties. Older revolvers may have been "top break" guns- raising the cylinder latch permitted to barrel and cylinder to swing open on a hing, much like a double barreled shotgun opens.
