It really depends what you eat. A typically healthy diet should include abotu 60% carbohydrates, 25% fat and 15% protein. This means that you should be eating about 25% of your calories per day from fat. If you're a woman, this is 2000 calories, so 500 calories per day. If you're a man, its 25% of 2500, which is 625 calories. In weight terms, each gram of fat is 9 calories, so a woman should have about 55g of fat per day, and a man should have about 69g. This is dependant on activity and requirements, but is a general guide.
