305hp at the crank for z28
That was the underrated notion so it wouldn't hurt the corvettes'. I say at least 320 to the crank; probably more.
you dont have a ls1 you have a lt1. the ls1 was in 98-02 camaro
I know the 1998 to 2002 camaro z28, ss have same ls1 engine as the corvette ls1. Only differets is horsepower. A pc program can change the horsepower to both camaro and corvette
310
345HP
Yes 1998-2002
NO! ls1's did not go into the z28s until 1998
Well depends on how much work you want to do. The engine will fit but the mounting locations are different because 98 was the first year of the LS1 in the Camaro. You are better off with an LS1 it is a much better engine anyways! Well depends on how much work you want to do. ~300~ horsepower, depending on the car really, there are alot of diffrent ls1 versions. Anywhere from 305 to 350 depending on application
engineers estimated hp (not at the wheels --5.7-275 horse 5.0 220 horse "i think Ls1 5.7 is 305hp but they were under rated to make the corvett look better but their never was a 305 or 5.0 after 1992
Not electronic. But mechanical yes. NOTE: a 1996 camaro has the LT1. A 1998 Camaro has the LS1. A lot of things are different.
because its a ls1
