320HP was known as the 350HO. A strong street engine that went unnoticed by the masses since it was overshadowed by the 400 cubic inch Ram Air motors in GTOs and Firebirds.
Advertised horsepower is--165 HP @ 3800 RPMs.

The springs on a Q-jet are used to close the carburetor when you let off the throttle. Look at the throttle and install the springs to pull the throttle closed. Most Q-jet brackets have holes for the springs to attach.

You cannot do it yourself because you have to have a license to buy R12 now. You can get it charged for about $120. I recharged my R12 A/C a year ago in my 88 K1500 4x4 350 v8 5 speed by a shop. Costs may vary from one location to another or from one shop to another, so check around for the best price.

don't do it unless you know how and if you did you wouldn't be asking adjusting carbs is an art form so I sugest you find an old mechanic ie; someone in ther fifties they are about the only guys left that know how to adjusat carbs
