I have a 4.9L straight six in mine. Its 300ci
4 engines available, 5.8 (351ci), 5.0 (302ci), 4.9 (300ci), 4.9 (300ci Bi-Fuel). Need to know which one you have.

In the 80s the F150s and Broncos came with at least 3 engines a strait six 300ci or one of 2 V8s a 302ci(5.0l) or a 351ci(5.4l).
I believe you are reffering to the 4.9L Inline 6.it's a 4.9L and it is a 300CI
www. the ranger station . com ( no spaces ) lists engine swaps for 4 cylinder , V6 , and even a 5.0 L V8 but not the straight 6 cylinder engine , so I'm pretty sure it is too long

well my 66 f100 has a 352 and it has 175hp at the rear wheel, my buddys 65 has a 300ci and it has 108hp at the rear wheel if you check vin on the drivers door id should have it its under net hp
On a Ford 4.9 litre / 300 cubic inch inline six cylinder engine : The firing order is ( 1 - 5 - 3 - 6 - 2 - 4 ) The distributor rotor turns CLOCKWISE The marked # 1 position on the distributor cap faces AWAY from the engine The engine cylinder locations are numbered 1 to 6 , from front to rear
Its located on the right side of the carb. The screw has a spring on it and pretty easy to identify. Good luck
5 quarts I think but am not 100% sure. Change oil & filter. Add 5 quarts, start the engine and run for 1 minute, shut down and wait 30 minutes. Check level and add if necessary. You now know for sure.
