every 3-4 thousand miles
Change the oil/filter every 5,000 miles with conventional oil and every 7,500 if you are using synthetic oil. This is assuming you do mixed city/highway driving. If you drive only in the city then change it more often.
Depends on where you drive and the type oil you use. If you drive mostly highway and use conventional oil then change it every 6,000 miles. If you drive mostly city then change it every 3,000 miles. If you drive 50/50 city highway then every 5,000 miles is a good comprimise. If you use 100% synthetic oil then every 8,000 miles highway and 6,000 miles city driving. If you make lots of short trips that are less than 10 miles then I would recommend every 4,000 miles. Also if you drive in dusty conditions then change it more often. Always change the filter at the same time you change the oil.
BANGALORE was the first city to introduce Volvo buses to public transport and it has the highest number of volvo buses on city routes..
If you use conventional oil and drive normally, (50-50 city highway) then change your oil/filter every 5,000 miles. If you use synthetic oil then change it every 8,000 miles.
It depends on how often you use your car. If you're a city driver changing it every year is a good idea. If you drive a lot you will have to change your filter more often as it depends on how much crud it ingests.
There are many cities in Australia that have a Volvo dealership. Sydney, Australia is one of the many cities in Australia that have a Volvo dealership within the city limits.
Use the exact weight oil recommended by Kia and listed in your owners manual. Any major brand is a good choice. Change the oil/filter every 5,000 miles if you drive mostly in the city or mixed driving. If you drive mostly highway you can change it every 7,000 miles.
Mobil 1 is a synthetic oil and as such the change interval can be extended beyond conventional oil. How much depends on how you drive. If you drive nothing but stop & go city driving then I would recommend changing the Oil/Filter every 5,000 miles. If you drive a mix of city & highway, I would recommend 7,000 miles. If you drive nothing but highway then 10,000 miles. Always change the filter at every oil change and use a quality filter such as Purolator, Wix, AC/Delco, etc. Also just as important as the Oil/Filter change is the Air Filter. Change your Air Filter every 30,000 miles unless you drive in dusty conditions, and then change it every 20,000 miles.
This is my opinion based on my experience and knowledge. Oil change intervals are determined by how and where you drive. Assuming you drive in normal conditions and not very dusty conditions, change the filter with every oil change, and replace the air filter every 30,000 miles. This is what I would do. If you use conventional oil and drive mostly city stop and go driving, change it every 4,000 miles. Mostly highway, change it every 7,000 miles. A mixture of city/highway every 5,000 miles. if you use synthetic oil then city 6,000 miles, highway 10,000 miles, a mixture 8,000 miles. Remember the air filter is critical to keeping the engine clean. Change the air filter every 30,000 miles and more often if you ever drive in a dusty area. How you drive is also important. If you drive the car hard with full acceleration starts, the change it more often. Also buy a quality oil/air filter. If you purchase a Purolator, Wix, or AC/Delco filter you can't go wrong. All excellent filters. On your GM vehicle, if it were mine I would install a AC/Delco filter.
It depends on how you take care if it. How often you change the oil and filter. What type of oil and filter you use. when you change the air filter gas filter and how you drive. If you drive in the city or open road. Light foot or heavy foot. So as you can see, it depends on you. Do everything right and you should get 300,000 miles out of it, or more.
