There's no real definite birth place of racism, however within the United States, Racism was shown predominately in the South, since slaves were more popular there because of the better farming conditions than the North.

There was never a time without racism in America.

Before the arrival of Christopher Columbus, the Indian tribes fought amongst themselves.

When Europeans arrived, both sides saw themselves as different, which should not be surprising since the Europeans were so vastly advanced in writing, sciences and technology.

With a perception of difference comes the assumption that each group is born differently and one cannot achieve what the other has.

This assumption can be rejected at face value by remembering that the Britons were blue-painted savages when the Romans arrived, but that changed.
