One month before the event
I would plan to have a baby shower after the first trimester, preferably the second. I would start ordering about a month before my baby shower date! Hope it helps
The timing of a baby shower can vary, but it is typically hosted a few months before the baby is due. It is common to have a baby shower during the third trimester of pregnancy, between the 6th and 8th month. This allows the expectant parents to have enough time to prepare for the arrival of the baby.
Tinyprints.com offers you templates on what a baby shower invitation should include, such as date, time, where you are registered, what the gender of the baby is (if you want it revealed), and so on.
When I had my baby shower one of my friends got me "A Playmate Before the Due Date". I absolutely love it and tell all my friends to get it.Link to it in Ebay:ebay.to/1ugwKV7
There's no set answer to this question. Usually friends and/or family produce the baby shower. So, whenever it's most convenient for them would be appropriate as a time. The caution would be to not hold the shower too early in the pregnancy, so that in case the pregnancy terminates, there's less public sadness and disappointment. Finally, some people prefer to wait until they know the sex of the baby, so that appropriate colours can be chosen for gifts. Otherwise, yellow, green and other colour combinations are totally appropriate for baby wear.
Poshexpressions' answer: I suggest about a month so that people have time to clear their schedule or request off of work if needed. Baby Cachet's answer: Another, detailed answer to a similar question can be found below under related links "How soon to send out baby shower invitations?".
The games for guests to play at your baby shower would be baby bingo or guessing the date that the baby is due and whoever is closest will receive a prize.
i would recomend a shower a bath you would just sit there in your own dirt :) hope this helps
It should be a month to two weeks before the event. Be sure to check with the Bride's mother to be sure what dates are available for the Bridal Shower and then plan a way to get her to that Bridal Shower. The right time for throwing a bridal shower is anywhere from 6 months before to the week of the wedding. Some etiquette guides say to wait until after the wedding invitations have gone out, but I think it's fine to do it earlier, as long as all shower invitees will definitely be invited to the wedding itself. As for time of day, the traditional time is Sunday afternoon, but really any time day or night is fine.
If you gave a baby shower gift earlier than the due date of the baby shower then you do not need to give a gift, but if you just gave the gift not knowing about the baby shower you could give the mother to be a small gift for the baby.
take a shower, use soap. And don't eat beans on or before a date (until you are married, then it's funny)
Example of invitation card for baby shower: Jane Doe (that would be you) at (put your address here and phone # as well as email address) is having a baby shower for (put name of the person who is pregnant) on (put the date here and also put the time .. example: at 3 PM to 6 PM) or whatever time you prefer. Then put 'RSVP by (put down a date for 2 weeks before the baby shower so you know how many guests are coming.) This is how it should look when finished: Jane Doe at 0000 Smith Street, San Francisco .... Phone # 000-0000 or email address: JaneDoe@yahoo.com) is having a baby shower for: Mary Smith to be held between the hours of 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. RSVP by January 28th, 2010
