Remove the light assy and turn the bulbs counterclockwise.
It comes out the back of the light housing.
open the trunk, take out the 6 wing nuts on the back of the light frame, close the trunk, pull top out first and lift up as u pull out, light panel will come out, change bulb and reinstall
Turn the key off and the light resets. If it comes back on (except for bulb-test), that means a problem has already been detected again and needs to be repaired.
ets and check engine light on in 98 Chevy cavalier
Replacing a front signal turn bulb on a 2000 Chevy cavalier takes all abut a few minutes to complete. First find the housing for the turn signal which is located in the engine compartment. Pull back the bulb from the light housing and remove it from the clip. Lastly install the new light.
It has to be removed at the back of the assy. If you can't get to it through the trunk, you need to remove the light.
Take out the 2 bolts on top of light assy and lift up and forward. There is a tab on the bottom that slips into a slot when you put it back in.
