  1. Remove wheel
    1. Set parking brake
    2. block rear wheels
    3. loosen wheel nuts
    4. jack and support (not with cinder blocks!)
    5. remove wheel nuts and wheels
    6. place a rag under the master cylinder, in case brake fluid runs over
Recommend you do one brake at a time, from this point, so that you can look at the other one, to see how it's assembled.
    1. Remove the caliper and bracket
      1. If there is no star washer on one of the wheel studs, re-install 2 lug nuts to hold rotor in place.
      2. Have a piece of stiff wire ready, to hang the caliper from the chassis, so that it doesn't dangle by the brake line.
      3. Next remove the spring clip. Pry it off with a flat blade screw driver (save it)
      4. Loosen but don't remove the two caliper mounting studs with a 7mm Allen wrench (or 7mm hex drive)
      5. Remove the two caliper bracket bolts (21mm socket), rock the assembly off the rotor and hang it with your piece of wire.
      6. Move the outer pad toward the inner and remove it.
      7. Pry the inner pad (spring clip) out of the caliper piston and remove it.
      8. Remove the caliper mounting studs completely.
      9. Fully retract piston into caliper body using a "c" Clamp
      1. Wire brush the caliper bracket, paying particular attention to the machined slots that the tabs of the brake pads slide in.
      2. Lightly! lubricate the machined slots with a graphite lubricant.
      3. Clean the caliper mounting studs
      4. Grease the inside of the caliper mounting stud bushings with white lithium grease. Just in the little groves. Wipe off any excess
    2. Clean & lube
      1. Remove the star washer (if it still exists, otherwise remove the wheel nuts installed earlier, from the wheel stud and slide the rotor off.
      2. Degrease your new rotor, before installing it.
      3. Replace the star washer, if it still exists, otherwise put a wheel nut on (finger tight).
    3. Rotor replacement (These rotors start out thin and often need replacing at the same time as the pads. Sometimes you can have them turned.)
    4. Assembly
      1. Assemble the caliper bracket, to the caliper.
      2. Install new pads inner and outer
      3. Re-Install the caliper bracket to the steering knuckle.
      4. Tighten both caliper bracket bolts AND both caliper studs securely.
      5. PUMP BRAKE PEDAL TO SET PADS AGAINST CALIPER PRIOR TO MOVING VEHICLE
      6. Re-install the clip. It can be a pain. Put the top sides (wings) on first and then pull the center into place. Ensure it is tight. But using a screw driver and pliers you'll get it. Be careful it doesn't go flying and hit someone or get lost.
      7. Do the second wheel (Always do both wheels, in the same job. Imbalanced brakes are dangerous.).
    5. Assembly
  2. Re- install wheels. As above pump the brakes before you drive the van.
  3. A final hint, it's easier to work on one wheel at a time. Before you jack up the Van, turn the wheel to the right or left depending on the side you are working on. It's a whole lot easier to get to the bolts....goood luck!
