Remove right cover (just below the seat) by removing the single screw on the lower right of the cover and popping it off. Disconnect the negative (on the left) terminal first, then the positive with a Phillips screwdriver. Watch for the loose little nuts held within the battery terminals if your replacement battery doesn't have them. Remove the rubber battery strap - probably easiest by unstrapping from the left. Install replacement by doing these instructions backwards. Remember to connect positive terminal first.
Take off the seat
Follow the cable rearward from the starter. It connects to the battery.
Left side behind the plastic cover
Remove the right cover below the fuel tank and you get to the battery.
Under the right side (as you sit on the bike) side cover.
It is directly to the left of the battery box on the right side of the bike.
there is no oil filter in Honda rebel 125. i believe the sump plug is magnetised and this draws anything that is not meant to be there. this being the reason you should regularly change your oil. hope that helps.
The Honda Rebel CBX450C was only built in 1986 & 87.
No you dont. Transmission & Engine oil are chared in a 250 Rebel! just make sure you change your engine oil regularely...every 1000Miles or so...

The Honda CMX450C "Rebel 450" was sold in the USA for the model years 1986 and 1987. There was no Rebel 400.
