Which is fairly expensive even on vortex... just buy a $10 FM modulator and save your dinero, if you don't want to go that route, buy a new mp3 head unit, or hd player, its cheaper than the Phatbox (which only stores about 20 gig ATM) or in the case of the hd player about the same price with double or triple that capacity easy, and has WAYY better performance than the Phatbox with the oem head...
You can purchase a Phatbox Music Keg from VW. It comes with instructions on how to install and plugs right in to your CD Changer plug in the back of your car.
Because of your internet connection
hdmi
can a blu ray player be connected to a laptop instead of a tv
I don't think you can. Your player has specific ports which allow your 5.1 set to connect to it. Sadly, a laptop doesn't have ports for this type of connection. However, if you can get hold of an AUX cable, you will be able to connect your laptop directly to your player, and play songs off your laptop directly through you home cinema.
You can connect an MP3 to a CD player through the "AUX in" port.
You just need to connect it to 1 cord.
You can look at the in and out connectors on the TV and the amplifier. You have choices that depend on the tv and amplifier, basic stereo, surround sound and tos-link. As you know in and out are connected and out and in are connected. Do not connect in and in to each other and do not connect out and out to each other.
It is the ability for the PS3 to comment to an internet source without you having to purchase something that must be connected to the PS3. It does not allow you to connect if you don't have a wireless internet connection,
Connect the digital audio output of the DVD to the the HRT-6130. The HDMI inputs on the HRT6130 are only pass-through, so audio needs to be connected on another cable. If you have a HDMI output on the DVD player, use a HDMI cable to connect it to the TV.
You "ground" it or connect it to a negative source that is connected got the negative end of the battery
You don't have a reason to connect a Bluray to the PS2 even if you could. Plus would you want the input or output of the player connected
I have a mutant CD player, Sony xplod 800w subwoofer and a SPLX 800 amplifier. These are all connected, I have power and ground connected, the lights are lit up on the amplifier. Also the subwoofer has "life", I can hear when it turns on and off, but no sound is played through it when I put music on. Is this a problem with the CD player headunit or the connection from that to the amp? Thanks!
