Let's think about this one...use a diffrent door,or go to your nearest VW store and buy yourself a new lock!
Pry bar and a hammer
This means that there is probably structural damage. The whole door probably needs to be replaced in order to fix this problem.Ê
You can contact the company to determine the best way to fix the door. They can send the right tools or give you the information to get it to work.
the linkages to either the handles or the lock or both has come off. here's the kicker... you need to open the door to take of the inside door pannel to fix it. try to remove the pannel with the door closed. or a "skilled" vheicle locksmith could open it from the outside...but it's not cheap.
how do you fix a prosthetic leg that the release screw wont go all the way down in to the socket
Can't answer that but have the same model and need to know how to change the time??
If they only open from the outside, check to see if the child security locks are set in the on position. The child security lock switch would be found in the door jamb latch area with the door open.
Unlock it.
make sure your door shims are not worn out,....open the door half way and lift the door up, if you feel slight movement or looseness in the door you may have to replace the shims
get a new door handle.
The plastic on the inner handle has broke. One of the plastic gears just replace the actual handle (hard to find) get at a junk yard.
