well i have found this on the net so not sure if it workz im gonna go fix mine right now itz 1:27am right now..lol well first close and lock all doors.. than put key in more than six time in less than 10 seconds and the hazard light will flash twice and than put key in ignition and turn to "acc" and than push lock on the the controller.. not sure if it workz yet going to go try it out right now but im not sure if the other buttons on controller will work too but atleast now u can unlock and lock the doorz with the controller.. i found this on the net.. i know it soundz stupid but thatz how Nissan pplz set this up.

The code is in your trunk on the pillar by the back window where the speakers are mounted there is a sticker there that has the Security code for the keyless entry. Good luck

Amps for the factory Bose system of a 97 nissan maxima are located in passenger door panel for the front and in the speaker casing in the trunk for the rear.
Sometimes they are stuck to the back side of the deck lid.
The factory sizes for the 1999 Maxima are:SE: 215/55-16GLE & GXE: 205/65-15
When opening the vehicle with the entry key the alarm is automatically turn off.
This weekend I will be changing the ECM on a 2001 Maxima. I have a factory service book on a 97 Maxima and the computer in on the left side of the trans console. The side cover of the console has to be removed to get access to the ECM.
