It is easy as pie. First, the arm rest must come off (it has 2 Phillips screws), and the plastic trim around the inside door latch needs to be popped off. Most of the door latch remains attached to the door, the trim is just a small rectangular ring. The rectangular trim has 4 'engagements' on the backside that you cannot see. There are 2 at top and 2 at bottom, about 1/2 inch in from the inside corners. You have to stretch the 'rectangle' near the top front then near the top rear to release them.

The Panel has little plastic clips into holes every 6 inches or so around the perimeter at front, bottom and rear. At the top, it is a 'channel' that drops down over the door, so after unclipping at front, bottom and rear you will be lifting the panel up about 1/2 inch. Slide in a medium or large flat tip screwdriver, and move it up 'til it bumps into a clip. Then just pry the clip out of it's hole in the sheetmetal. You may break the clips, or you may not. Be careful, as the door panel is made out of thick cardboard or thin wood. I was able to re use all of my clips.

If your purpose for removing the panel to lube the door lock mechanism, note that this can be done without removing the panel but simply by prying the window inward until you can SEE the mechanism and shoot some lube at it.
