6x9 in the doors and the rear
Yes and yes
6/9 in the front and 5.25 in the rear
6x9 in the front doors, 5.25" in the rear doors. The stock infinity speakers are problematic.
i believe they are 6.25" all the way around
For a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 extended cab, there are two different sizes of speakers. The front speakers are 6x9 and the rear are 5-1/4.
The front speakers sre 6 1/2
The speakers in a 2003 Dodge Intrepid measure 6 3/4 inches in the front door. The rear door deck speakers measure 6 3/4 inches and the front dash speakers measure 3 1/2 inches.
Dodge Spirit and Caravan are the only ones I can think of as they carry the same wiring and everything as a Dynasty would.
I have a 1993 dodge shadow and I thought it was complicated to change my speakers to but, it really isnt. The rear spearker have that plug of wires all you need to do is cut the wires and use the inner two wires for any aftermarket spaekers. The front speakers are a pain to get to since you have to mess with the door clips and pull the pannal off but the speaker wires are self explanitory. Make sure to electric tape the other wire so is not to have a short. Any other questions on how to get to or remove or install spearker componets e-mail me @ Allicedout19@yahoo.com
Stock speakers should be 4x6's
It runs to the factory amp. For the stock speakers
well, most stock speakers are usually around 4" ( 4 inches ) so i advise you to buy 4" speakers and they can get pretty powerfull they can reach over 160W of power.
assuming you plan to change the speakers on the frond doors, remove the bottom screws on the door frame (they should be facing up), then remove the bottom half of the door panel. Unscrew the stock speakers and replace them with new ones. Then put the door frame back on the door.
1993 Dodge Shadow stock in reverce.
Remove the side panels closest to the doors and unscrew the top screws on the dash. Once you remove it will be easy to take out the stock speakers and replace them. I replaced mine with a pair of Alpine Type S SPS-600 Speakers, this makes a huge difference. Good luck!
As far as the watts go i am not for sure. As for the diameter of the speakers they are 5 1/4" or 5.25"
You have to remove the door panel. After you will see the speaker which sits in 4 screws. Remove the screws disconnect the speaker and in the reverse order for your new speaker. Keep in mind, whatever new speakers you get, the stock amp on this vehicle has a low pass filter to the door speakers (and a high pass filter to the dash) so they won't deliver any highs.
the stock speakers are 4x6 inches
the size of the speakers are 6.5" round
According to sonicelectronics.com database both front and rear stock speakers are 6"x8"
