Disconnect and drain the 2 hoses going to the heater core threw the firewall.
Remove the bottom half of the dash and it should be held in with 4 bolts. It will take afew good hours to complete. But anyone can fix anything on a car with alittle patience... even if the person doesnt exactly know how, they can remove things and remember where they go, and put it all back together in reverse order... It's possible that your heater core is plugged up. It can also be a bad thermostat.

Drain the water from the cooling system. Remove the water hose from the heater core. Remove the heater core retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new heater core.
