This information is listed in your owner's manual. Don't have one, then get one. Sources are, Dealer, E-Bay, Salvage Yard, Google Search. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Who ever wrote that statement up there is a complete #$@#$ !! Well the maintenance light is quite simple to get rid of actually... first the car must be turned off. Second turn the key to on (DO NOT START THE CAR) you know where ALL your lights on the dashboard turn on, so do that. Now push and hold the odometer stick until you see the "maintenance rq'd" light turn off... this may take a few seconds. Thanks to my incredibly intelligent wife. She figured this out on her own.
How do u put the spring back in for the Change cubby
Your owner's manual discusses this very light. The light indicates that regular scheduled maintenance is required. Look in your owner's manual for the description of what maintenance items need to be addressed, and how to reset the light.

The maintenance required light comes on aeveryfew thousand miles. After you get an oil change the mechanic is supposed to reset that for you. I would take it back and have it done, or google it and do it yourself.
maintenance with engine
In my experience with modern cars you don't. The mechanics set it and it will be reset when you take it in.
The maintenance light,You will need to take it to a Dodge dealer to reset it. Or get a DBR-2 code scanner.BIG $$$
If you have done the required work to correct the problem, all you then have to do is remove the battery cables from the battery, wait 10 seconds then replace them. This will reset the check engine light. The above answer is incorrect. Removing the battery cable will not reset the check engine light. This must be done with an OBD2 scan tool. You said maintenance required light. Are you referring to the light that reminds you to change the oil. If so, you can reset this light according to instructions found in your owner's manual.
aperantly take the light out
The maintenance required light requires a scan tool to be reset.
