It really is fairly simple and straight forward. Each bike is different. Read your manual.
It turns the balance shaft. The balance shaft helps reduce vibration in the motor. It is usually driven by a belt that is connected from the balance shaft to the crank shaft and a tention adjusting wheel used to apply tension to the belt. Hope this helps, Dirk.
there is no drive shaft it's front wheel drive
if theres no wheel nuts , then theres a cap over the shaft, remove it and remove the carter pin,
Get the drive shaft out of WHAT? Front wheel drive vehicles are considerably more difficult to remove than most rear wheel drives unbolt it
To remove the axle shaft, first remove the wheel, and brake drum/rotor. Second, remove the differental cover. Third, remove the bolt holding the spider gear shaft, and remove that shaft. To remove the steering wheel start by disconnecting the negative battery terminal to prevent accidental airbag deployment. Then remove the screws on the backside of the steering wheel to remove the airbag. Disconnect the airbag wiring connectors. Remove the steering column shaft nut and remove the steering wheel with a puller. Do not yank, hammer, pry the steering wheel off as this could result in steering shaft damage.
To remove the steering wheel from your 1985 Chevy Celebrity: First remove the horn button. There should be a keeper at the tip of the steering shaft, remove it. Remove the nut that holds the wheel in place. Use a steering wheel puller to actually remove the steering wheel.

Remove the front drive shaft
The shaft is either "keyed" or splined to turn the wheel. There is probably just a nut or bolt keeping it on the shaft. Just loosen it up and hopefully the factory put some grease on the shaft so the wheel didn't rust to the shaft and it should just slide off. If it won't come off then LIGHTLY (ask me how i know) tap the inside of the wheel and see if it will slide off. If not then there might be a couple of holes in the wheel for a wheel puller. If not you'll have take it in and have a shop remove it.
