First, disconnect the negative battery cable. Raise and support the vehicle. disconnect and cap the hydraulic line at the slave cylinder. Remove the slave cylinder. To install, reverse procedure. After you are finished Bleed the system.
To bleed system:
Fill reservoir with clean DOT3 brake fluid. Have a friend depress the clutch pedal to pump up the system. While your friend holds the clutch pedal to the floor open the bleeder screw. Close the bleeder screw and release pedal. Repeat this process until no air comes out of the bleeder screw. Make sure the master cylinder reservoir stays full during the process or you'll be starting it over again.
You will need to remove the transmission to replace the clutch slave.

The slave cylinder is actually built onto the throw-out bearing. If you have a problem with it you will have to pull the trans.
No. It unbolts from the transmission just under the starter. The hardest part will be unhooking the line from the cylinder. Use a nail and a pair of pliers to push the roll pin out.
Perhaps slave cylinder, line or fitting leaking?
There is NO adjustment, You must replace the clutch set to bring the pedal back to the right position. You also need to make sure the clutch slave cylinder/ master cylinder is good before replacing clutch assy.
There is NO adjustment. It is adjusted automatically through the hydraulic slave cylinder. Probley time for a NEW clutch kit.
