It depends on which 3.0 you are taking about, which you fail to list. There are two different 3.0 liters that year. Look at the link on the right and pick the correct model Dodge.
It is the first cylinder on the right side.
Looking at the engine, the #1 cylinder will on your right hand side of the block, very first cylinder.
#1 is the first plug closest to the radiator on the drivers side.
Open the hood and stand in front of your car. The first spark plug on your left hand is cylinder one.
On a V6 it is the first cylinder (closest to the belt) on the front head (closest to the radiator).On a V6 it is the first cylinder (closest to the belt) on the front head (closest to the radiator).
For the 2.5 4 cylinder, number one is the first cylinder from the passenger side.For the 3.5 V6 cylinder, number one is the first cylinder in back from the passenger the side.
Probably the spark plug or spark plug wires, I would try that first.
While facing the engine from the front of the vehicle, #1 cylinder will be the first cylinder toward the radiator on the right-hand side of the engine. The rest of the cylinders on the right side of the engine, viewing to the rear will be odd numbers: #3, #5, and #7. On the (4.6L) The number 5 cylinder is located on Driver side first one from the radiator. On the (5.7L) The number 5 cylinder is located on Driver side first one from the radiator.
if it is a 4 cylinder the number one is the first cylinder behind the belts and all that stuff. If it is a v6 the number 1 cylinder is the first cylinder behind the belts on the bank closest to the front of the car.
On the (4.6L) The number 5 cylinder is located on Driver side first one from the radiator. On the (5.7L) The number 5 cylinder is located on Driver side first one from the radiator.
1 cylinder is #1, the first cylinder, front of engine, the first cylinder.
