I have a 89 Honda Civic DX Hatch I swapped out with a 95 Civic EX D16Z6 motor and did a DPFI to MPFI swap but when I rev the car it goes but after 2000 RPMs it stalls can anyone tell me why?

he's a better driver. plain and simple, sorry to burst your bubble. is you engine originally like that or did you put in the vtec motor (im assuming D16Z6 SOHC vtec) and used the regular tranny that was already in the car. if you swapped the motor in and used your CX, VX, or DX tranny, the gearing in the tranny is different and could cause you to be slower.
