it will bolt it but you have to wire the VTEC
The motor in a 1993 Honda Civic Si is a 1.6L D16Z6. In contrast, the 1991 and earlier Civic Si comes with a 1.6L D16A6. And the 1999 and up Civic Si has a B16A2motor.

In the back of the intake manifold on a d16z6 and on a d16y8 it should be on the air intake arm.
A D Series Engine such as a D16z6.........I would recommend that one also...
D16Z6 engine are manufactured by Honda company and are found in three models of Honda Civic (Si, ES and ESi) and in 2 models of Honda Del Sol (Si and ESi).
he's a better driver. plain and simple, sorry to burst your bubble. is you engine originally like that or did you put in the vtec motor (im assuming D16Z6 SOHC vtec) and used the regular tranny that was already in the car. if you swapped the motor in and used your CX, VX, or DX tranny, the gearing in the tranny is different and could cause you to be slower.
the motor that came in the 92-95 civic EX/SI are all the same. they are the 1.6 liter VTEC engines. the engine code is D16Z6. rated at 125hp. "TurboIntivic"
The water during bolt on your 1995 Honda Civic can be found on the bottom of the radiator. The water drained bolt is a 9/16 bolt.
