I had an hj61 cruiser. the aerial could be accessed from a cutout in the panel under the bonnet. Try this. It was obvious once i looked for it.

You will have to remove the cover then the radio it self. I believe that the fender needs to come off to replace the base & mast on that model.(I could be mistaken) Then youll need to feed the wire back from the fender to the radio. Put it all back together, but make sure you get the fender in alignment so it doesn't catch the door. I hope i was some help, sorry if i was not.
