try to stick to 3 meals a day and less than twelve grams per meal depending on how strict you are talking (this is more of a normal diet)

It used to be that a woman on a diet should have no more than 9 grams of fat a day and 1200 calories a day. That was from a diet I used in the '80's. Weight-loss companies have listings (or they used to) breaking down every food and condiment with amount of fat, and daily meals to use. It was around 3 ounces of meat a day to lose weight, 1/2 cup of vegetables, and so forth.
