Contact your local university education department and find out what is needed for a teaching credential in your state. You may not have to do much if you all ready have a credential, but most likely you will have to education classes and do an internship in a regular classroom. A lot of depends on what you all ready have in coursework, experience, and credentials. I hold a regular K-12 credential in CA, but if I wanted to teach special education I would have to do at least year more of coursework. So, check it out.

usually 10 year olds are still in elementary school. They are normally in 4th or 5th grade which are usually still part of elementary. However, there are some areas in the US that have 5th graders already in middle school, so in those places, 10 year olds are starting middle school already.
A "FELLOWSHIP" is the term for a period of time (usually one or two years) where a person whom is already a "general" practitioner (already a "doctor" in general medicine who can diagnose, treat, and prescribe medication independently in general medicine) becomes a "fellow" in a desired field of medicine (such as obstetrics or oncology) and thus has a supervising physician whom is already a specialist in that field that they work under until their training is completed. Once their training is completed, they take the testing involved in becoming a "Board Certified" specialist in that area of medicine. (this answer is specific to the United States and Canada)

The exact answer is going to depend on where in the world you are, but in the US being a "certified veterinary assistant" does not require a college degree and therefore you would still need around 8 years of college.
Whether a certified check expires or not will depend on the bank that issued the check. Some banks put an actual expiration date on certified checks, but many do not. In reality, the check has already been paid for, so it shouldn't expire at all.
