Depends on when it happens.
If it's at cold start up and floods:
leaking fuel injectors
excessive fuel pressure
bad plugs
bad wires
plugged air filter
defective ecm
If it's at warm restart,
all the above, and
engine coolant temperature sensor
Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1)
Change the coils they should be two black blocks on top of the engine..the coils could have gone bad.
could need a tune up---plugs, wires, fuel filter & air filter...good inexpensive way to start
Could be the tach is set for 6 cylinders?
it could have a bad speed sensor
I really hate to be the one to tell you the bad news but it is possible that you have bent some valves. Take the spark plugs out of the missing cylinders and run a compression check on those two.
It is in front of the radiator and the horn itself can be bad.
this could be valve stem seals or oil control ring,s
battery may be dying and altenater may be going out
i don't know about the no fuel thing but check your head gasket and your timing belt it may have jumped time i know that's what was wrong with my gf's
Getting the wrong answer does not make you dumb. It just means that you got the answer wrong and could learn something new by finding the right answer.
Sounds like a ring job is in line. I could be wrong, but if the oil smells of gasoline,it's getting there somehow, and that would be the first place I would look. Check the compression on the cylinders. Would also check for a bad intake lifter.
