I say that you answer the question truthfully. There are many reasons why people file for bankruptcy protection. Tell them your story from the heart, what God has taught you through it, how it has matured you in your walk with Christ and your family relationships as well. The last think you want to do is be evasive. It is over if you even hint at being elusive on this subject. Remember...churches have budgets and money and as the senior pastor you will be entrusted with both. More importantly, the responsibility to the Lord. Be honest!

If the pastor files for personal bankruptcy, no - the church fund can't be touched. If he files bankruptcy ON BEHALF of the church, then any and all funds and assets of the church can be affected.
Pastor
If the Pastor was voted out in accordance with the constitution and by laws of the church then he cannot reinstate himself as Pastor.
If the Pastor is unable to fully serve the church, he will still have the position of Pastor until his call to Glory, an Assistant Pastor or a designated person of ministry will conduct the services and tend to the needs of God's people.
Sometimes, but usually the church council decides who will become the next pastor. If the church has no council, then the clergy members of the church will come together and decide which one of them will be pastor.
Wait for what? To get a new Pastor? We have a guy at our Church who Preaches if our Pastor can't make it to Church or if he passes away
WHAT?! No, a pastor of ANY church cannot ask someone to move out of town and any good, Christian pastor would never do that! The only thing a pastor may do is if he feels that a member of a church has committed a bad sin and will not confess, the pastor can have the church vote on it and the person may be asked to leave the church, but NO PASTOR can kick someone out of town and if that is what's happening, than that pastor is not a good, Christian pastor and he should be reported to the head of the district for whatever denomination his church is.
Fred Phelps is the pastor of Westboro Baptist Church.
No a parsonage cannot be owned by the church and the pastor. If the church as an organization owns something it cannot be co owned by an individual. The pastor is an employee of the church not a co-owner of the church/organization.

Any one whom God has called to preach the gospel (salvation by grace through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary) is a preacher/minister. A preacher/minister who has accepted a full/part time position as the spiritual leader of a church is a pastor. All pastors are preachers/ministers, but not all preachers/ministers are pastors.
