Depends on the calorie intake. In order for successful weight loss you need to eat less calories than you burn. It's hard to make an accurate estimation without how much you eat, if it's through exercise or just daily activity. Except if you are very overweight, the recommended amount of weightloss per week is about 1 to 2 pounds, so up to 8 pounds a month. Exceeding this borders on being unhealthy.

First calculate your BMR- that's the amout of calories you'd need a day to maintain weight.

Take that number and subtracth 1000 calories. Then multiply by 7.

Since 1 lb of body fat = 3500 calories

just divide how many calories you lose a week by 3500 and that's how many lbs you get.

What you are suggesting is very unhealthy and will harm you in the long run. IF it comes off you will not be able to keep it off with what you plan above. It won't be all fat that you will loose but muscle as well. The first 5-8 pounds is water weight. A good diet will take 2 pounds off a week (these will stay off) so you will loose 8 pounds a month. This is possible and healthy.

The amount of weight will depend upon your size and how much you are exercising. You should never have a calorie intake of less than 1,200 calories daily.

How long would it take to burn 1500 calories during anaerobic exercise?

It depends on your weight and the intensity of exercise. For me, it would take over four hours.

How many hours do you have to exercise?

well you should at least get 60 minutes of exercise daily.

If you exercised constantly for a week when would you start losing weight?

When exercising your body burns a small amount of calories. Its the afterburn that really counts. For 24 hours after you exercise you body is burning more calories and is eating into the fat stores because you have used your reserves while exercising. If you want to calculate what you need to do to lose a pound a week. Work out your weight in pounds and multiply by 13, this gives you the total calories that your body consumes daily to keep at your current weight. To lose one pound a week your body needs to either burn off or consume less 500 calories a day. One pound = 3500 calories. The 500 calories can be burned off using exercise or cutting back on food. 1 mile of walking or running = 100 calories.

How long will it take you to lose a stone if you only eat 1200 calories a day and do exercise to burn 100 calories a day?

ok to lose weight u need to burn more calories then you are consuming.. if you eat 1200 calories and only burn 100 then your total for that day is still +1100 . see what i mean? so you must burn an amount greater then 1200 calories in order to lose weight.. i dotn know how to measure calories burned but i would guess about 2 hours exercise a day would be enough

How many calories will burn you exercise 2 hours on unicycle?

depends what unicycle

If you lose 300 calories on a treadmill don't you just gain it back when you eat that same day if your body needs 1500 to 2000 calories a day?

The idea is to burn more calories than you consume. So by burning 300 calories you could technically eat an extra 300 calories and remain at the same weight because you body would on average use 1500-2000 calories to stay alive and to conduct daily functions whether you exercise or not. Do not stick to firmly to 1500 - 2000 calories as the range can vary, those with desk jobs would use 1500 while those with high labour jobs such as builders would need more. I hear the best way to fight the weight is the good old regular exercise. I recall hearing that your body continues working at a higher metobolic rate for upto 24 hours after the exercise, so regular exercise would mean your body is burning more fat than it normally would. Eat healthy + exercise often :D

How many calories should you burn for weight loss?

It doesn't matter how many calories you burn - if you burn more each day in exercise than you consume each day in food, you'll lose weight. But if you're a big eater, you could work out 20 hours a day and not lose weight.

Does exercise lead to weight loss?

Actually... Exercise leads to being fit. When you exercise your muscles get ready for work. Exercise causes the muscles to become more active in general and when they get into that state they naturally need more nutrients. Being FIT leads to weight loss. While pounding away on a treadmill for 30 minutes may not burn many calories, it DOES cause the muscles to start getting serious. You'll burn extra calories for a few hours after exercise, so in effect the answer is, "yes". But it takes an indirect route.

Should you exercise two times per day when you want to lose weight?

It wouldn't hurt. To lose one solid pound of weight, you need to burn 3,500 more calories than you consume. The way to burn these calories is through limiting how many yoou take in (healthy dieting) while burning off calories (exercise). It is important to get at least 30 minutes of exercise in each day. To lose weight, though, you will want to add in an hour to 3 hours a day of exercise. Splitting it up into two parts can help if you would like a break in between. But as long as you are getting the exercise in, it doesn't really matter too much when you do it.

How many calories do i burn if i take 500 calories in a day and walk for 2 hours and my weight is 98 pound and also if i want to lose 8 pounds then haw many cal can i have in a day?

You don't need to be worrying about losing weight, you need to be putting weight on. 500 calories is not NEARLY enough, for anyone. Everyone needs at least 1500 just to do the vital necessities just to LIVE. 500 is not enough, at all. You need to stop worrying about your weight, you are not fat, you don't need to lose weight at all, you need to be eating around 2500 calories A DAY if you are walking two hours daily.

Can you drink alcohol and still lose weight?

It's possible. Alcohol contains a lot of calories, so it works against you. However, as long as you burn more calories than you take in, you will lose weight. The key, of course, is how many hours of aerobic exercise you get each week.
