mine only has rear anti lock brakes!
In most instances both rear wheels. However some older cars only lock 1 rear wheel.
It means the car can only be driven by a homosexual driver in future
cause the front wheels to lock up, causing the driver to lose steering control.
the first wheel has 8 possibilities. the second wheel has only 7 possibilities as it cannot be the same as the first. the third wheel has 6 possibilities and the last has only 5 possibilities. 8*7*6*5=1680
The hubs lock the axel to the hub, which drives the wheel. With the transfer case in 2WD, the rear driveshaft drives the rear wheels. Without front hubs, in 2WD, as the front tires roll, they spin the axles and the front driveshaft. With lock out hubs, in 2WD and the hubs unlocked only the tires spin. However, in 4WD if you forget to lock the hubs, only the driveshafts and axles spin. When I lived in MI, in the winter I always kept my hubs "locked", this way I could shift into 4WD whenever I needed to without getting out in the cold to "lock" the hubs.
2 wheel antilock brakes only work on the rear wheels, while 4 wheel antilock brakes work on all 4 wheels.
Improperly adjusted, new pads, low traction, etc.... most vans only had rear-wheel antilock brakes.
If you have a 6 speed and the steering wheel is unlocked then the only problem is you have to reset the message everytime. Assuming you had the dealer remove the lock pin in the column during the recall. Automatic Vette models is another problem where the steering could lock up.
they do lock, idiot
Sears has a special socket that does the job. They come in a set or individually, just purchase the one you need. That socket was designed to remove rounded off nuts and bolts, it works well on wheel lock nuts. These only work on old lock nuts, the new ones have a ring that spins to stop these being used. Google "Locking wheel nut remover" to find the 'No1 Locking wheel nut removers'. It takes 10 minutes to remove all four.
There is no procedure. The only components that need to be bled (depending on work performed) are the master cylinder, wheel cylinders and calipers.
