water cooled is better
Liquid cooled. The last "sport" bike to be air cooled was the WAY out of date Katana
Both air cooled and water cooled machine guns have been made.
Almost all of the first aircraft engines were air cooled as this made for a lighter engine.
During WW2, naval aircraft preferred to used air cooled radial engines. The US Army Air Corps (Force) preferred to use the in line liquid cooled engines. Air cooled engines were tougher (more durable) because they were more simplier and less complicated; they didn't have extra hoses and radiators, etc. and could keep flying when they were shot up. Liquid cooled engines could have their hoses shot out, which would cause the engine to freeze up (stop), then the pilot would have to bail out; scratch one expensive airplane.
The rock will have little holes.
no all pocket bikes are forced air cooled
NO dirt bikes are either air cooled (you will mainly find this on Chinese bikes) or they are cooled by coolant from a radiater, much like the one in your car.
race bikes are cooled by air air circulation but in sports bike they are cooled by oil coolant
usually any type of 2stroke air cooled blend... the fuel oil mix for poctet bikes is usually 50:1
All except the VROD models.
Ssimplicity and weight. An air cooled engine has no water pump, thermostat, radiator, water passageways, etc. They are also cheaper, though since most air cooled motorcycles are used, you won't see much gain there. Some people feel they also look better on crusers and vintage bikes.
Its both air and water cooled.
air cooled.
The 1984 is air cooled, 1985 and on are water cooled.
The last YZ250 that was air cooled was 1981. 1982 is when they switched to water cooled engines.
