LOL - You might be thinking of Windsor. Windsor, Ontario, which is across the river from Detroit, is the Canadian city that is south of Detroit. Detroit is about a four hour drive southwest of Toronto. Toronto is on the northwest shore of Lake Ontario, about 60 miles north of Buffalo, NY.
