Had this problem off and on for years. Finally switched to Mozilla Firefox for my browser. All prior problems of IE gone - Firefox has twice the security that IE has, and less than one-tenth of 1% the problems of IE. I'll never ever return to IE.

Yes, only because it is shipped with windows. IE is in no way better than Firefox. Firefox is safer, faster, and more customizable. It is also compatible on other OS's. Answer: internet explorer and mozilla firefox both are good. this is depend upon user which one browser like. user can use both at a time.
You can already download a Beta of Internet Explorer 8 at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/winfamily/ie/ie8/getitnow.mspx though there is no known date of when it will be a complete, stable browser. But, I feel I must let you know about Firefox 2 (or better yet, the Firefox 3 beta) or even Safari 3. Those browsers are faster than IE, and Firefox is better all around. Just try it. And download AdBlock Plus. These browsers are already good at following web standards, something Microsoft is still struggling with in IE 8. Here, just try this and see what you think: ftp://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/3.0b5/win32/en-US/Firefox%20Setup%203.0%20Beta%205.exe
I personal love safari it is my fav and i use it all the time on my apple computer it is the most trusted program for me
In my opinion it is, I find that firefox is much helpful.
You may keep both browsers without any conflicts. Many who prefer Firefox will seldom use IE but keep IE available within the Control Panel for the oft necessary MS Updates, Patches and Hotfixes. MS makes these available only through IE (Surprised?). Yes, I have Firefox 2, Fiefox 3, Internet Explorer 7, Safari, DINT, Opera, OperaUSB and a few others... The only reason I don't delete IE is because I'm not an Admin.
Uninstall IE and get firefox. Nuff said
Mozzila FireFox,Internet Explorer,Mac Pro..... Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, Opera, IE (obviously)
I have the macintosh, and that does not happen to me. I think Safari works better with youtube than firefox. Try deleting Safari and Firefox and upload the new versions, that might help.
Firefox aims to be standards compliant, and thus usually renders pages accurately. It does not need any special browser-specific fixes, because if the page is written correctly, Firefox will display it correctly. If the page is written wrong, then it is the fault of web designer.
First I would try to reinstall IE. When you try to install it after an initial install it will ask you if you would like to modify or repair. Try to repair it first. If that doesn't work you there may be other prolems such as spyware. If so you can use a free program called Ad-adware which will scan you system. After that I would just try Firefox as a better option to IE..
