No, if the Stone was lost due to subsequent damage not affected by the workmanship provided by the jewelry store.
If the Repair facility is responsible, then this type of loss would be covered under the Products and Operations Completed portion of a Commercial or Business General Liability Insurance Policy. Where a Specified Coverage form does not otherwise exist, coverage may yet be afforded if a Commercial Umbrella Policy is in force.

My advice is and I have advised the same to more than 13,000+ clients that we currently have is to please insure diamonds and jewellery the minute you buy such items - against theft, loss or accident, etc. Many of our clients have done as advised and have been very thankful for the advice and some don't, sad to state !
Each country has different laws and insurance is quite affordable now a days so why not insure and have a peace of mind.
In the UAE (Dubai) depending on what you buy you can easily obtain very affordable insurance policies and almost immediately after purchase.
