You can "convert" any civic into an SI. You would have to do an engine swap into your civic. Some good options are: B16A2( out of a 96-00 Civic SI), B18C1( out of the Integra GSR), B18C5( out of the Integra type-R), K20A2( out of the Honda Integra type-R, or RSX-S), or the K20Z3( out of the 06-10 Civic SI). Then you would have to get some SI wheels( can be found on Craigslist, e-Bay, or maybe a Honda dealership; I wouldn't go to the dealer). You can get some SI seats( I would just go with some aftermarket ones though) from almost anywhere, I saw some on craigslist just the other day. Then get a stiffer suspension setup from craigslist, or eBay( again I would just buy after market coilovers, a camber kit, and some sway bars). The reason I would go with aftermarket is because you are going to pay almost the same amount of money for OEM SI equipment as you would for other aftermarket equipment. You will be much happier with the aftermarket equipment because it will out perform the SI in just about every application.

Honda Civic Si and Honda Civic Si EP3 the same thing. There are several different year models of of Honda Civic Si's. EP3 is the chassis code for that specific Civic Si 01-05 was the EP3. So the new Civic Si 06 to current two door model is the FG2. By the way the chassis codes are found in the VIN#.
