No, it's not complicated...just aggravating. On the front of the motor, there are two braces that run towards the radiator. Take them off so you can pull the motor forwards...that will give you more room to work. Undo the line off the rack and pinion....you may need a flare nut wrench to get it off. At the pump, you'll need a flare nut wrench again to remove the pressure line. The return line is held onto an elbow by a clamp. If that line needs to be changed, it's best to cut the old line off the elbow because if you yank on it and break the elbow, you'll be buying a new pump.
