On a 1993 240 Volvo the power steering pump and reservoir are a single unit and it is located above the a/c compressor. Physically it looks like a small black box with a black cap on top. The cap itself has a small dipstick to measure the oil level inside the unit. The unit will have two metal hoses coming out of it.
The 1997 Volvo 850 low pressure port is located on the air conditioning compressor. The low pressure port will be on the right hand side of the compressor.

Begin by removing the belt from your power steering pump. Remove the power steering pump fluid hoses. Remove the power steering pump retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install your new power steering pump.
