If you approach it with a scientific mind set that perhaps they were real people (not necessarily the first) from the middle eastern area, from anywhere around 2000 B.C. or further back, and were able to populate well, then there genetics stand a very good chance of being many many different peoples ancestors, but more probably would be the area near where they inhabited.
