Is the fuel pump in a 1986 Honda Prelude in the gas tank or outside of it?

The fuel pump is located to the drivers side of the fuel tank. It is hidden behind a protective cover that is held up by some (3?) 10mm bolts. The pump itself is attached to the cover so once you remove the cover the pump will come with it. The easiest way to find it is to start at the primary fuel filter that is mounted to the driver rear corner of the fuel tank, then follow the fuel line that goes toward the engine. The pump is withing a foot or two of that filter.
