I have a 83 with a I-6 and it gets great mpg. 35 and i have done nothing to it.
around 18-20 mpg, but that was brand new so 30's later it could have changed quite a bit
45 mpg
If it is a 5 speed, depending on how your exhaust is you can get anywhere from 35-45mpg. I had a free flow, straight header exhaust and was getting roughly 50mpg if not more.
90000 mpg
I get 27 mpg
from this site http://www.mpgomatic.com/2007/10/08/super-cheap-high-mpg-cars-1978-1981/ it shows that the Datsun PICKUP 2WD does 39/48
27 mpg hwy
How many mpg does a 1980 Datsun 280Z with 4 or 6 cyl get?
I had a brand new 1978 Datsun b210, 5 speed, No A/C...got a minimum of 33 MPG if caught in traffic in NYC. I consistently got over 45-48 MPG on the highway. Broke 50 MPG coming down a mountain once. Wish I had that car now. Why can't today's offerings match that?.
I have a pair of 1980 280zx's 1 is stock 1 has a 60mm throttle body and I get average 29 mpg and 27 mpg the 1981 is the same L28 engine so should be about the same unless its a Turbo then I dont know and 1981 is the first year of the Turbo option Arturo Checking my mpg many times for several years on my 1981 280ZX, I averaged 23.7 MPG. With the cruise control on 55MPH, I never approached getting 25MPG even when driving 100% on the highway. I don't believe the above poster, Arturo, is getting even 27MPG with his 1980 models, let alone 29MPG. I consider the 29MPG ridiculous. And no, I didn't have the "turbo option" on my 280ZX that Arturo mentions. Curtis
18 to 24 depending on haw you drive and whether you're using the AC
Usually around 25 or 26 mpg. I have a 82 280 zx and on my best weeks i would get around 26 mpg . I drive 115 miles round trip all highway miles every day and dont get much better.
